| Applications Now Available for March Indoor Yard Sale If you'd like to be a vendor at our next Indoor Yard Sale on Saturday, March 5th at the Burns Road Recreation Center, download or pick up an application, complete it and submit it and pay your fee. Early Registration for Camp Gardens Early registration for summer camp begins February 9th for Classic and Sports R Us camps ONLY and must be done in person at any Recreation service desk. Online registration begins March 8, 2016, at 8am for ALL camps, including specialty and half-day camps. Gardens Life Brochure The January-February 2016 edition of the Gardens Life brochure listing classes, programs and events is currently available, and the March-May 2016 brochure will be available in mid-February. GFWC Palm Beach Gardens Woman's Club Wednesday, February 17 | 7pm The Woman's Club will host a program on February 17th about Health and Wellness. Dr. Abbas Rabiei will speak at 7pm. The meeting is held at the Lakeside Community Center, 10410 N. Military Trail and all are welcome. Refreshments will be served with a business meeting to follow. Toe Tappers with Ann Fraser Learn the basics of both ballet and tap while gaining awareness of tempo and coordination. This beginner class is for 4-5 year olds and runs Tuesdays, February 2-March 1 from 3:30-4:25pm. Res/Non-Res Fee is $55/$69 for 5 weeks. Register online or in person. Ballet and Tap shoes are required for this combo class. More Information Clay Creations with Sam Costanzo Kids ages 5-10 can come play with clay and create pieces using coils, slabs, pinch pots and extrusions. Learn decorative techniques using textures and colorful glazes. This class runs Wednesdays, February 17-March 30 (no class March 23) from 5-6:30pm. Res/Non-Res Fee: $120/$150 for 6 weeks. Be Mine! Valentine's Day Cake & Cookie Decorating This Early Release Day workshop for ages 5-11 will celebrate Valentine's Day. We will decorate cupcakes and make decadent and delicious chocolate treats for your sweethearts. Class takes place on Thursday, February 4 from 12:30-2pm. Res/Non-Res Fee: $20/$25. Register online or in person by February 2nd to prevent class cancellation. More Information Futsal (Indoor Soccer) For ages 7-18, this Futsal program is a fast-paced, street style form of soccer that continues to grow in popularity. This indoor version of soccer improves players' creativity, passing, and dribbling by focusing on play within tight quarters. The program concludes with the Puma Cup tournament on March 18. New! Portrait Painting & Sketching Register now for this class that runs March 2-30 from 1-4pm. Learn how to create a portrait for the first time or enhance your existing skills. A live model will be provided so that the structure of the head and face can be observed from life. Go beyond line and detail with paint, charcoal or pastels. Mat Pilates with Nicole Haag This Mat Pilates class for ages 18 + will tone, shape, lengthen and strengthen your entire body. Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced students all welcome.
